Very good experience today.

First I was double booked on two different flights due to a change at short notice and due to carelessness on my part I was checked in for 2 flights simultaneously. No dramas, the gate attendant intercepted me, just wanted to check which flight you are taking, offloaded from the unwanted sector, all handled discretely and with minimum of fuss.

On EK77 to Nice the purser Genesis was really impressive. Sincere with the gold greeting and didn’t need to rustle the manifest to find my name.

Also I asked him to distribute 5 bottles of champagne to clients dotted around the cabin heading to a conference which he did very professionally. Nothing was too much trouble and all done cheerfully with a smile. In fact when I saw him in at baggage reclaim he remembered my name and wished me a happy weekend.

Reminded me once again of why EK is my airline of choice.
