Overhead panel facing wrong way.

Hi everyone, long time reader, never posted.

I noticed something curious recently on a Ryanair Max flight and wondered if anyone here would have some insight.

Sitting in row 26 on the right I noticed the overhead panel above me was facing the wrong way. So the seatbelt sign etc. was facing the front of the plane. It was only the case for my row and roughly the two rows ahead of it.

I can hardly imagine it was meant to be this way, but it also seems remarkable that a mistake like that could be made, it’s pretty obvious.
