Norse Atlantic inaugural flight – LGW to JFKBack to Forum
I will be trying out the new Norse Atlantic on the inaugural to New York on Friday. (NO 701)
And also speaking with the CEO – Bjørn Tore Larsen – before the flight.
I believe all the B787s the airline used were Norwegian ones, now repainted in the ‘Longship’ livery.
There are leases on both B787-8 and B 787-9 aircraft, though some are currently being subleased to Air Europa. The airline is aiming for 15 B787s to be in the fleet, though I am unclear whether that includes those being sub-leased.
There are two classes: economy and premium, each with three different fare types Light, Classic and Plus.10 Aug 2022
This airline is getting off the ground with another route.”Norse Atlantic Airways takes off from the U.S. west coast for the first time with inaugural flight from Los Angeles to Oslo”, (Aviation24.be 11-8-22)
…..as well as
“Norse Atlantic Airways celebrates inaugural flight from London Gatwick to New York JFK”, (Aviation24.be 12-8-22)
This latter flight is facilitated by a connecting flight from Oslo to/from London Gatwick.
