I’ve seen this time and time again.
One new airline enters a route and then another follows. At the end of the day if there’s overcapacity we could see one of them drop out.
Norse has just tweeted the news and I presume it will operate into JFK.
Two weeks ago we reported that Jet Blue would operate the same route but its start date is expected to be later (unless Jet Blue management changes its plan.

I guess there will be room for both of them, their value propositions are both quite different.
I imagine that’s the great thing about the A321LR. Not a huge amount of seats to fill, reduced crewing complements so lower staff costs.
