So I am looking on Expedia for a reasonable itinerary and price for later this year in economy – EDI-SGN-ICN-EDI – and find one that suits my needs at £942 so go to book.

When I get to the page to pay, I see the following:

    “Price change
Ticket prices changed from £941.21 to £2,869.61. Because prices change often, we recommend booking now to lock in this price.”

While I do appreciate that prices can wobble a bit while booking, this does seem a somewhat extreme hike especially as starting again still shows the original £942. Price gouging or what?

It does sound extreme and a bit surprising

This is why I always check prices on one computer or laptop, and then book on a different one

Just a thought. Is that higher price Business Class?

Not as far as I can see, CathayLoyalist2. It would be very good value as Business!!!
