Microwave food on board SQ and EK?

    Hi! Does anyone know if it’s truth that Singapore Airlines and Emirates have microwaves on board some of their aircrafts? And if so, do you know what kind of food they offer?

    Not heard that…but BA have had microwaves on board for the last year in new club world….covent garden soup etc is on the menu

    I can confirm SQ use microwaves in R (Suites) on their A380s. They use it (at least!) to warm up soup. The only reason I knew is that I could tell the soup had an uneven heating and when I asked if was done in a microwave, I was told “yes”.

    Yes I can confirm that EK & SQ both have micro’s installed in the F & J Galley’s on their 777 Fleet & also the A340 & A380 Fleet.
