Pasta! No thanks. My recent trip in J RUH-HKG-MNL and return was very good, the food was good with a hot meal on all sectors. Perhaps the only complaint would be the lack of choice of starters.
The trolley service so you can see the meals is good way of letting you see what it looks like. I like to have some fruit for desert but most airlines think fruit salad is 90% melon at least on CX you can see and say what you want.

We are sorry it didn’t meet expectations. We are looking at wrap enhancements in the near future so hopefully next time you fill find the selection more to your liking.
In terms of the meal service on our Doha to Hong Kong flights we did want to correct the mistaken believe that we do not offer hot meal service. We do offer a full hot meal service in all classes upon departure and this is followed by a continental breakfast on arrival into Hong Kong.
