Germany is having a rough time with strikes so far in 2024.

Last week there was the DB strike which lasted almost one week.

Today it’s the turn of security workers at the airports.

With two exceptions Lufthansa is advising passengers not to come to the airport.

Due to the Verdi strike, security checks in the departure areas are closed today, February 1. Except for @MUC_Airport and @airportnue it is not possible to begin your travel at German airports. Therefore, please do not to come to the airports. We apologize for the inconvenience. pic.twitter.com/GPmn2o3Afz
