    Interesting that a first time poster ressurects a thread over 2 years old, to introduce us to the Rathole Hotel.

    I always find the Park Hyatt Churchill to be a favorite. It’s just steps away from Oxford Street; convenient, but you won’t have the crowd in your face. The Marble Arch tube is also around the corner. The resto serves awesome breakfast and champagne brunch on weekends.

    A few years ago at the reception of the Metropolitan a US visitor was overheard expressing his delight that a £1500 suite had become available and he could abandon his £960 suite!

    There are occasionally good deals for this hotel on secret escapes if you’re lucky enough to get one book it. I have never had a bad experience here.
