London Heathrow Centurion LoungeBack to Forum
Does anyone know where in T3 the lounge will be? Didn’t think that there was that much free space airside for something that would make a decent sized lounge.25 Mar 2019
Originally it was going to replace the kids play area which is up in the lifts near accessorise.
A few weeks ago its name was posted on the hoarding notice on the area which was Pilots Bar.
No work has started I’d be surprised if where ever it ends up it opens this year all lounges in Heathrow seem to take more than 1 year to open after construction starts. My money is on 2020.31 Mar 2019
If you check the PDF map for Terminal 3, you can see the play area at number 22 next to Ted Baker (https://www.heathrow.com/file_source/Heathrow/Static/PDF/Maps/Heathrow_T3_Map.pdf).
Then, if you check the interactive map, this area has been removed, and the search does also not return any play area for Terminal 3 anymore, so I assume it will be the new 22, though, indeed, that space looks rather small.
I called both Ted Baker and Accessorize and both were not aware of any movement between each other, so the evidence is not conclusive.
Either this will be a stealthy big reveal soon or it will be a 2020.
Then I looked at Pilots Bar, which was still there in 2017, but not anymore today. A quick check in TripAdvisor reviews shows that it was probably opposite to Jo Malone, though the people there say that Jo Malone is opposite to Hermes. When asked where the Centurion is they said two minutes away, but not which direction.
I did some more calls as things started not to make sense anymore and there were many outdated maps. The most up to date map (attached) shows two shopping spaces free, right around the other lounges, at convenient location next to Gate 11. My guess is that the Centurion will be there.
