For European departures, I tend to depart from LHR so I can use a decent lounge to work in before departure, but try to arrive back into LCY as it means I can use the tube to get home – far quicker than a cab and far cheaper!
No complaints about time from aircraft to DLR – Moorgate and Northern Line or the state of airport faciities for my use of airport.
