Have just noticed that BA flights from TLS now arrive into T1 – am connecting to JFK leaving from T5 (it’s a through ticket).
Anyone know if its a BA bus transfer or do I have to make my own way ?

There is a free transfer on the Heathrow Express train.

tarisingh, I would not recommend the Heathrow Express for this. You are probably better to follow Flight Connections on arrival and remain airside by taking the connecting terminal bus, thus avoiding Passport Control.

Thank you both – was a shock when I noticed the terminal change – definitely don’t want to go through passport control if possible!!
Do you know if there is a ba lounge in T1 – have a 6 hour wait on the way back

Yes, the old bmi lounge is now used by BA – its located by Gate 5.
