From next month (when ITA axes its Malpensa to New York route) the carrier will only be operating out of Milan Linate.

Now, since Mark reported on ITA Airways expansion at LCY last month – see link below, the carrier will add a fifth flight to the LCY-LIN route in summer 2024.

But today’s big news is that ITA will launch double-daily (reduced flights at weekends) service from LCY to Rome FCO effective March 31, 2024.

It’s not the first time an Italian airline has served Rome from LCY.

I took Air One (which later merged with Alitalia) from LCY to Rome around 2007.
