I must say that I was surprised to find out that gasoline prices were higher in Italy than in France last I was there in September. And Milan does not look quite as clean nor sharp as I would have expected.
You forgot Neos Airlines, an Italian leisure carrier, that flies thrice weekly between Milan – Malpensa and NYC – JFK.
BTW, Malpensa is a terrible looking airport. It could use a serious restoration and renovation.
