    Hi all,

The IAG’s webpage is now up!!

    http://www.iairgroup.com

The site seems good although some links doesn’t work, on the investor relations link says:

”Website in preparation for launch on 24 January 2011. Some statements will not be effective until 24 January 2011.”

It will be interesting to know if the shareholders will still have their 10% off tickets prices.

Also on many forums-webpages i read that there are rumors that BA and Iberia, under the IAG grouping, are preparing advanced discussions with Boeing and Airbus for early 2011 for a combined order for long range widebody twins.

The contest is likely to pit the Boeing 787 against the Airbus A350XWB but BA have pointed out that they would be interested in future developments of the Boeing 777.

I have no sources if those rumors are accurate but makes sense.

    Regards

    Found the first one,

Currently, private individual British Airways shareholders are eligible for a discount on certain British Airways flights if they hold more than 200 British Airways ordinary shares. There is no equivalent scheme for Iberia shareholders. It is expected that IAG will implement a shareholder discount scheme and shareholders will be provided with more information in due course.

    First offer,

Frequent flyers will also gain from the coordination between Iberia Plus and BA’s Executive Club organizations. Benefits will be increased, though the two will remain separate.

To mark the launch of the newly merged airlines, starting today cardholders of Iberia Plus and Executive Club will get double points for travel between London and Madrid, Barcelona and Malaga. Iberia Plus members will get double points for flights with BA to Asia and the Middle East, while Executive Club members will get double points for flying with Iberia to Central and South America.

Link provided from Iberia’s twitter team,

Unable to find this on the BA site – is it just mileage points or tier points as well. Is it retrospective to bookings already made, I have 2 to Spain booked within the travel period.

    From BT:

Members must register for the offer online and purchase tickets by March 24, for travel between now and April 24.
