As some of us had predicted when Indigo ordered the A350, today it was announced that they will introduce a ‘tailor-made’ business class on their ‘busiest and business routes’ before year end.

Details will be announced around the 18th of August which is when they’re celebrating an anniversary.

Going long-haul on a pure economy class seating wasn’t going to yield much profit as we’ve seen on many LCCs. Introducing business class will see Indigo go head to head with Air India and Vistara on busy routes like DEL-BOM. It was also announced that they made abour $1 billion in profit in the last financial year.

Now let’s wait and see what kind of seat they introduce.
