Well I am now on Day 3 without my bag.

Does anyone know how I can get a BA flight down to Brazil or Chile and then LAN onto Peru? When I try ba.com, they keep routing me via Madrid/Miami. Expedia brings up TAM a lot….what are they like?

Rather than selecting London to Lima on ba.com use the multi city booking tab. Obviously be aware of minimum connecting times.

I tend to book two separate flights. LHR to EZE via BA and then EZE-SCL with LAN. For Peru, I’d go LHR-GRU with BA, and then GRU-Peru with LAN rather than TAM. TAM’s OK, but LAN is better.

For some reason it’s often cheaper to book two separate flights rather than one. And no problem with checking luggage all the way through as LAN and TAM are OneWorld members. Only danger is someone sodding up a connection.
