It just goes from bad to worse!

Difficult to imagine it could get worse but it has. Of course, I don’t suppose the systems are linked otherwise we might even know who was in the country legally.

I am waiting to hear virtual claims that the Computer failure is the work of Unions throwing their sabots into the machinery….

I think he must be busy this afternoon, probably flying to ICN on his latest 777 to check it out. There won’t be any delays at T5 when he returns though.

Someone may be ordering the ICN upgrade pack for their software or perhaps or walking on the water in the Thames Estuary trying to get voters out?

As a former resident of Seoul I am always amazed at pictures of the city which have the Han River coloured blue. It is of course virtual reality as anyone who knows that fine! but congested city, will know that the Han is dark grey and rather ugly.

I think I must have transcended into VR this morning, when GF7 managed to beat the other aircraft to arrive at T4 at circa 0620.

Through in 60 seconds, but given the enormous amount of temporary queue barriers, they were expecting trouble later.

Thank goodness that allowed me to easily make my transfer to LGW and my omward connection.

I’ve started booking future trips via FRA, MUC and ZRH, commencing with a MLA/ARN/GOT/FRA/BEY/RUH/BEY/FRA/MLA, leaving this Sunday.

The only time I will come to the UK until this mess eases, is when accepting an engagement there and I am going to increase my daily rate by 5% to deal with the hassle.

I have a feeling the effects of the next 24 hours may lead to further improvements…

A few poxy lefty councillors won’t change anything.

Boris’s victory will be well-received by those looking forward to a credible solution to the lack of runway capacity in the South East. It’s going to be a good day!

I see that Voldemort has acquired the ‘politics’ add on for the virtual software.

Everyone is entitled to their view. Maybe now would be a good time to take a long weekend break and try to relax a little. Also as Spring finally thaws out the winter cold, may be a good time for the old annual checkup at the G.P.

“also as Spring finally thaws out the winter cold”

Rich, it’s been spring in Malta for about 7 weeks 😉

We don’t have seasons in Hawaii really but as you know the British weather is not so well favoured. I am glad Malta is so pleasant.

UK Border Agency ID card system crashes

The UK Border Agency turned hundreds of people away from a key office after the major foreign national ID card computer system shut down.

An applicant said people sobbed at the Croydon Enquiry Office, in London, as officials said computers were frozen.

Later an agency spokesman said the system was “back up and running” but there would be “a small backlog of applicants to clear”.

    and a comment..ref:

The system that was introduced was not fit for purpose.(seems that I have heard this before)

It was close to collapse a few weeks ago and has now collapsed.

    It’s an absolute mess”
