Rf2 Perhaps we are at risk of becoming a little entrenched and possibly boring re a our differing views on this.

Although the route will not commence for a few years its success or not will be revealed in time.

I have much enjoyed the discourse but have no more to say on the subject until then that is unless Qantas changes its plans re the London route. Thanks for the civilised exchange.

cwoodward, Rf2, it has been great to see such a civilised and well-conducted debate on the Forum – a lesson for all of us.

(Tongue in check) may I suggest that the conclusions reached on one side might be somewhat different were this innovation (or its equivalent) (say, Hong Kong to points in Latin America) to be announced by another airline!!
