As I am often in Germany/Austria due to work. A colleague flying to Seoul in Dec.09 with EK has found a great fare departing from FRA
( must have similar fare from HAM, DUS….).
Price from EK Booking Site

Business Class fare 1696,75€ so around 1541 GBP !!

Comparing to LHR-SEL in the same time around 2259,90 GBP

And beside the great fare–the DXB-SEL route is with the A380!!
FRA-DXB with B777-300 ER

Hey for that price–what do you want more!!

There are also F and J companion fares ex-Germany listed on Emirates’ website. Some 50 destinations are covered.
Book until January 5 for travel between now and March 31, 2010.

Two persons must travel together.

Examples of return prices per person ex-Germany: DXB Euros 1,643 business and Euros 2,268 for first ; HKG Euros 1,649 business and Euros 2,274 for first ; CPT Euros 1,664 for business and Euros 2,289 for first.

Note that the prices to DXB itself are only slightly less than those to cities beyond DXB.
