Today is a a French General Strike. Ryanair have cancelled their flights into Bergerac BUT FlyBe are operating.

I’d appreciate being advised why the two airlines have a difference in operations.

(No need to tell me which airline knows about Customer Service).

It’s similar to when we had the ash cloud, Ryanair knows that if it commits passengers to the airport and there are then delays etc. they have an obligation they can avoid and save money by simply cancelling the flights due to reasons beyond control of the carrier.
