    Well, Mr Bannerman and I concluded our bilateral talks in a most conducive manner. We ended up in a pub (The Wellington) where you order a choice of 16 real ales by number from an LED screen. As a smoker, I thought twice about asking for 20 Number Six as I feared that I’d end up with two and a half gallons of Old Cordwangle Thumper.

    A good evening was had by both, as I am sure Jim will endorse.
