I know that quite a few of you have either tried the new high-speed trains within China or are thinking of doing so.

In which case, here’s some useful advice to ensure your train ticket contains your name exactly as entered on your passport. Failure to do so may mean your ticket becomes invalid.

Apparently new ticketing rules took effect from March 1 and the train ticket website cannot process the spelling of certain Western names.
