Referred to elsewhere but I felt a separate thread was appropriate.

A man who changed the world thinking for many and whose products are providing a richer travel experience for many of us.

    RichHI1,

I agree, and thanks to Steve for making my travel life easier. I think President Obama had the most appropriate comment today:

“The world has lost a visionary, and there may be no greater tribute to Steve’s success than the fact that much of the world learned of his passing on a device he invented.”

Thats how I learnt, from the CNBC App on my iPad at 6 am this morning.

    R.I.P. Steve Jobs.

    I wholeheartedly agree with RichHI1.

Steve Jobs made a difference to so many. He will indeed be missed.

Fully concur with the sentiments posted.

His 2005 speech to Stanford University is insightful, poignant and motivational. Well worth a read/listen and reflection.

    Condolences to the family.

‘Steve Jobs, you created a ‘world of technology’ which changed the lives of many, whilst the rest could only follow’.

    iSad today…

    President Obama wrote something else:
“Steve was among the greatest of American innovators – brave enough to think differently, bold enough to believe he could change the world, and talented enough to do it.”

    RIP, Steve Jobs
