ESTA Further Delayed Until January 2010

    ESTA, the pre-flight US immigration scheme, was meant to have done away with the need to fill out cumbersome in flight I-94 Green forms.

    Yet, despite still requiring all the information online, the US still requires the paper based variant in addition to the online form, thus rendering the process even more wasteful than it used to be.

    Seems that the paper forms will indeed be abolished from January 2010, and not a moment too soon.

    Yes but interestingly enough Delta are now insisting on seeing ESTA evidence before boarding for Manchester aiport (only) so maybe it si finally being fazed in – the airlines need to be inline with it as it wont work otherwise
