Emirates have just released a global sale (excl exAUS) and are further offering an additional 10% discount off the base fare for Skywards members. Indicative economy fares exUK are:

The additional 10% discount on the base fare is applied when a valid Skywards number is included in the booking request. That makes fares to Australia in particular some of the lowest in the market. The sale fares also offer some flexibility.

Sale Ts&Cs:
Sales period: 25th December 2011 to 9th January 2012.
Travel period: 22nd January to 30th June 2012.
Minimum stay: three days.
Maximum stay: 12 months.
Stopovers permitted free of charge on the inbound and outbound to Dubai for all fares. Four stopovers permitted in total. Two free stopovers in Dubai and teo additional at a charge of GBP 75 net each.
Reservation change before/after departure is permitted at no charge.
Cancellation before/after departure: permitted at a charge of GBP 100 excluding SWP.
Cancellation before/after departure: permitted at a charge of GBP 200 for SWP.

Skywards Promo Ts&Cs:
This promotion is open to all Skywards members who:
(a) are members, or who become members, before 9th January 2012.
(b) purchase and issue a ticket between 25th December 2011 and 9th January 2012 for travel between 22th January and 30th June 2012.
(c) have purchased and completed ticketing online via emirates.com. Offer excludes any tickets issued or collected from an Emirates office.
A Skywards member who, at the discretion of Skywards, satisfies the conditions set out in clause 1 will be eligible for a discount off any available airfare quoted online at emirates.com. This discount does not apply to charges or taxes.
Offer not applicable for itineraries starting in Australia.
Any ticket purchased through this offer, but not containing a valid Skywards membership number is subject to cancellation.
