A rather woolly piece about Edelweiss which does not reflect particularly well on parent, Swiss. Does anyone have informed views about this?

All I can say is that I have flown at least 8 sectors, in all 3 classes, on Edelweiss in the last couple of years, to and from CPT, and have found nothing at all to complain about in relation to price paid, quite the opposite.

I often use Edelweiss and find the crew to be very friendly and professional. They now use the A340 Swiss have replaced with the 777 but these aircraft have been very well maintained, and continue to be maintained, by Swiss. I would not hesitate to recommend them and feel the safety concerns are completely unjustified.
