Apart from the -sometimes- unpersonal approach of the cabin crew…the components and origin of LH catering is certainly something I will always believe and rely on.
They -and LSG- have a rigorous quality control and quality management system, from purchase, delivery, preparation, endcontrol…it is a very stringent “german quality” process of work.
Maybe that is a reason why LSG is so successful, and that worldwide.
Indeed, LH probably have the highest standards of catering in Europe. It’s worth adding that there were also full size linen napkins on the trays in C. It all just adds to the quality of the experience. I think on similar sectors BA use paper.
It may also be worth noting that a hot meal on a tray was served in Y on both sectors, I don’t know what it was or whether there was any choice, it smelled good and compared to a filled wrap and a drink from the bar on BA the offering was clearly more substantial.
