this is one good move for ba to encourage to fly ba+partners,as they decide to give tier points to all class, including discount economy class seats as a permenant offer

Yes, unlike the title might suggest, it’s not just Silver members who get points.

All tiers fo the BAEC will now receive tier points for all flights – an good decision IMO by BA.

This move was first highlighted by Vintage Krug a few weeks ago. This move by BA is long long overdue and while welcome, it does smack of desperation.

Anything is welcome though and I hope they come up with a few new ideas.

Of course full TPs were always earned by everyone flying on anything other than the deeply discounted domestic, European and Longhaul Economy fares.

So this will only affect a limited number of (mostly leisure) travellers.

I think it is a great move offering 25% of the regular TPs on economy discounted fares to encourage BAEC members off LCCs and back to BA and her oneworld partners.
