I’ve just booked a one way flight from Amsterdam to Gatwick for 15 October on BA.

Interestingly, when opting to pay by Amex there way no card fee as is normally the case for UK originating flights!

I also got offered a very reasonable upgrade to CE after booking ET and have taken advantage of this – so thanks to BA for that!

You were billed in Euro I expect. Hence no processing fee since you probably had a non Dutch billing address.

This happens all the time to me when booking BA from a Swiss address.

The CE upgrades can be hit and miss…(i.e sometimes offered and sometimes not). probably and extre Euro100?

I was under the impression the costs of processing would be similar. That said, I was glad not to see it!

65 euro upgrade and 40 Tier Points. The Gatwick upgrades are usually good value whenever I’ve been lucky enough to go somewhere!
