Just seen Virgin has decided to pay BAA after withholding about £ 10 million in fees due to the snow chaos. What amazed me was a paragraph in their statement.
“The current aviation regulatory framework effectively gives BAA carte blanche to decide how to treat its customers, setting underwhelming service quality standards which fail to protect the travelling public,” Virgin said in a statement.
That’s really the pot calling the kettle black!
