I know they’re in some financial trouble at the moment, but my recent journey from Delhi to Chennai with Kingfisher in First was one of the worst experiences I have had.

This once great airline is clearly going to the dogs. The flight started with the captain explaining they hadn’t been paid for 2 months and we should basically be grateful that they are still flying.

No menus offered and the only food provided was the same as economy. No drinks available apart from water. The purser explained that the crew are told to tell passengers there are catering problems, but it’s really all about cost cutting.

Had excellent onward flights with Go India and Spicejet.

RIP Kingfisher. You were once a great airline.
