My first trip on BA’s A380. I arrived rather late at the gate so have no idea if there was priority boarding but there were three queues and fortunately mine was quite quiet.
The crew brought round newspapers and a glass of sparkling wine or water before take off. The first time I recall a drink being offered by BA. I was surprised that the IFE was not switched on until after take off as it is normal for it to be on now.
I was in 61D the second row of the cabin. Row 60 in the centre has the most leg room for sure followed by Rows in front of the bulkhead on either side of the cabin. The downside to being near the front is of course screaming babies and we had one on this flight. Legroom was good though. With 9 rows of seats the cabin is much bigger than the WT+ cabon on a 777 or 747 and I must say i prefer the smaller cabin on these other aircraft.
