Apparently both passengers and exporters of the considerable amount of perishable freight have been very concerned at the lack of flights since the pandemic given that CX is the only airline connecting the city to HKG. Brisbane will be served 6 days per week now using B777 aircraft (instead of the previous A350 3 times a week) with its substantially larger freight capacity. Cathay also operates a B747 freighter once a week to neighboring Toowoomba airport and so exporters of seafood and fresh produce should now be again well served.
