I just happened to need to make 2 bookings at Citizen M Schiphol, for a late return from BKK on Eva Airways.
Also ahead into Jan 2023, for the morning flight of Singapore Airlines A350, to SIN, and on to KUL.
The KLM flights are not so easy from LCY to connect, so an eve there is very handy to fly the next day or eve, and a day trip into Amsterdam so easy.
The % discount worked very well!

Flights remain enormously more Economical ex AMS and in Euros still, compared to the astronomical prices from LHR.

My return bought a few months ago, with SQ ex Amsterdam-SIN-KUL, On the A350 was a mere £1,850 return Business class, half the price ex LHR! Especially onwards to KUL, that has very few Carriers, and sky high prices these days!
Without the restrictions and hassles at LHR either. No paying of £500+ taxes to the UK Government either!
I take KLM, LCY return, for my home travel, in North London easily.

Whilst Schiphol T3 was busy for a late eve, and was stretched on the way on Eva Airlines, Business class did have a walk up and check in right away.
Security is running in one lane for none KLM flights.

Let us see with the Economics of the UK hitting hard, if the Airlines will bring down these “doubled Prices” in Business Class Worldwide, as mentioned in other forum topics!!

The Black Friday discounts will be especially welcome to our Leisure travellers here on the BT Forum Everyone…And assist in the tough to renew membership levels, for Airlines and Hotels.

Indeed. That’s now one of the world’s busiest international routes.

Plans were well advanced for HS (high-speed) rail linking Singapore with KL but politics have got in the way.

In preparation for this line the Singaporeans closed their one and only rail terminus (near the city centre but few foreigners were even aware it even existed !) and lifted the track to the border.

I found very little this year, especially considering the huge hike in fares ex Europe to The Far East and Pacific!
None around Asia either, few carriers but SQ getting up to speed there…but no significant deals from there.

Far more choice if you start yr long haul within European gateways, Swiss, LH, KLM, TG, SQ 1/3rd- 1/2 the cost ex LHR.
