Just a quick hop back to London following my friends birthday party.

Security at Glasgow was a breeze.
I didn’t bother with an airport lounge this time, opting to pay £2.55 for a coffee in the Sanderling (Weatherspoon’s) which was a nice way to pass the time.

The Boeing 737 was clean (a first for me as BA flights -Cityflyer excepted- have tended to be on grubby aircraft) and the staff were great.

A G&T and a bag of crisps, a flick through Highlife and Private Eye and I was in Gatwick before I knew it.

Looks like the plane beat the train!

Indeed. But how much did the BA flight cost ? Higher than Virgin’s £50 Advance fare ?

BA was GBP 53.98, and VT was actually GBP 51.00

    Great value from BA.
