Yesterday I logged in as usual to book some tickets on ba.com.

However, repeatedly, when I got to the point where I was about to do the paying process, I got refused with the message that the service was currently unavailable.

Finally, out of desperation or just a coincidence, I don’t remember. But I tried to book when I was not logged in, and voila! It worked…

Anyone else experienced this? That you cannot be logged in when you book?

I thought it was kind of the point, that you would be recognised instantly.

Anyways, now that I know, I just avoid being logged on, but I know this used to work. Though, much to my dismay the experience meant I lost the better deal, so I ended up paying approximately £200 more 🙁

Another issue is the new seating charge. Is it correct that this is free only to the Gold member itself and not the party (in my case family) that is travelling with you?
