LCY-IOM Aer Aran operated the route but only recently stopped. There are plans for other airlines to take this destination.

Pity it didnt go on to BHD – it would give people who commute from BHD the opportunity to use routes out of LCY.

So this is good news; after the takeover of BA Connect by flybe, there was a 5 year lockout for BA to operate this route; this has now ended, just in time to rescue this service abandoned by Aer Arran.

Embraer jets for the first month of operation, and then a wet leased Saab 2000 from Eastern Airlines from 25 June.
