Hi,

I was looking at tickets for San Diego in October and found there were no direct flights.

Anyone know if this is a permanent shutdown of the route or if it is just a seasonal closure of BA 272/273?

I can see plenty of direct flights with BA, with premium Economy coming in at around £1192.

Remember this is a three class 777 service, so no First cabin which could be your issue…?

I could not find any for October 9th…

Maybe already full for a convention or something like that, or as VK said perhaps you were looking at F?

Another option could be to try the new AA 77W service, changing planes at DFW. These also work out a bit cheaper, or when I checked last year they were anyway.You would still get Avios and Tier points. . .
