British Airways to actively cancel flights

    My understanding is that they are not permitted to do this. They must offer you a choice

    either

    Full refund
    Reroute at a date and time of your choosing
    Reroute on another carrier.

    The choice is yours and only yours.

    There is no compensation due as notification was more than 2 weeks ahead of the flight.

    Looks like they haven’t cancelled enough…huge queues at Manchester and 2 check ins open.

    Not allowed under EC261. If you are out of pocket then CEDR or MCOL is the answer.
