Would BA start flying to YOW in the near future from LGW?

Thomas Cook Airlines already have flights and Monarch is starting operation in May 2011. Market growth and competition?

Also BA signed a deal with WestJet recently.

Any comments would be appreciated.

It’s never been mentioned. With the WestJet deal you mention, BA can serve this by feeding WestJet at Toronto, so I can’t see this route launching.

Personally, I would like to see more east-bound leisure routes from LGW, Goa and Phuket in particular.

Well recent management talk at LGW said LGW would be resuming some North American routes and also new additions to the network. BA at LGW is competing with charter airlines after all.
