Interesting that BA are advertising for direct entry pilots based at LGW for A350 and A380….

Does this signal plans to utilize these aircraft there? They clearly separate LGW/LHR application (looking for 777/787 at LHR).

The opening includes A320 pilots. A350 and A380 crew require minimal training to operate A320/A319s. No need to get excited yet!

I guess it’s a bit miss leading, but when you open the posting it states Direct Entry Pilot – A320 (LGW) A350/A380 (LHR) so I would venture to say we won’t be seeing BA’s newest fleet anywhere at Gatwick soon.

I guess their location field on their job site only allows for one location and the A320 in LGW was first.
