BA offers 10% discount off the fare component of tickets purchased by registered holders of 200 or more British Airways (BAY.L) shares.

The offer applies even to sale fares, and is valid for your ticket and up to 8 people travelling with you.

The record date by which time you must be on the share register is usually around the 5 November (I can’t find a precise date, but you should be OK if registered by 5 November).

So if you were planning on taking advantage of this deal, then you really need to get buying your shares this week. 200 shares cost about £550 at current prices so for example you should get the cost of the shares back in savings after purchasing two Club World returns to LHR-SYD.

Thanks VK- 200 shares just bought on a three day settlement, so I will hopefully just make it. Cannot think why I haven’t done this before..
