Has anyone else had a reply regarding the APD online letter sent to the HoC? I got one from my MP yesterday , thanking me for filling it in and how the gov. were trying to get the country back on it’s feet, down turns, left with enormous debt etc etc so needed the income. But don’t worry, private jet pax were also now being targeted so it was fair all round.
What shone through was the undisguised fact that it was simply an easy revenue earner for the gov. which they were not going to give up. Bugger the flying public, the burden on industry and driving away economic opportunities.
