Any experience of arriving JFK Terminal 8 Immigration?

    Haven’t been to the USA since the new mandate and wonder if the normal immigration processing time is even longer than normal? Landing midday Easter Monday and realized this is probably going to take forever… any advice?

    I arrived there recently with Emirates and from entering the maze to exiting to the baggage belt took exactly 6 minutes. Plenty of officers as well as booths for returning ESTA’s.
    I was processed “manually”.
