    Another good day for Sterling against nearly every other major currency as the days of profligacy are reined in, and common sense returns to UKplc:

    Good to see, & certainly hope it continues…

    AUS $ needs another 30% climb…
    Singapore $ another 10% dropped since January…
    UAE Dirham 25% from a year ago…
    Malay Ringit & Thai Baht even another 20% to catch up on last year at least.

    Some of these currencies are quite weak / volatile, others have rebuffed the world situation, but we still have some way to go to gain even that which we started with beginning of this year, let alone the general 30-40% 18 months ago.

    Restricts travel purchases from other gateways in local currencies, when once they offered quite a great deal.
