Advised not to bother but cost dictates that on this occasion I have taken up the offer of a relatively cheap ticket.

I have a soft spot for AI but not many people share it. The staff are good but not over-friendly. The food’s good and most of the seats are quite comfortable (lots of legroom in economy and the new business class seats are great but not on every aircraft).

The new Delhi airport is brilliant. I’ve never done an international transfer at it but if it is as easy and user-friendly as arriving and leaving, it will be a very good experience

Yes have been lucky and bagged on the long sectors on the 777, aisle seats with 35″ pitch at the back in economy.

Have never graced Delhi before so new experience for me.
