    Hi all, I am thinking of spending 3-4 days mid Dec in Abu Dhabi. Any suggestions / recommendations / suggested hotels / travel tips etc. would be most welcomed. I’ve seen parts of Dubai – not sure if it’s a similar flavor in Abu Dhabi. Traveling with my wife this trip. Thanks.

    You might find that 3-4 days in AUH is a bit too much. A couple of days is enough to do everything that is there. It is definately not like Dubai.

    The Shangrila is a nice hotel situated on the outskirts near the new mosque. Hilton is also good situated on the cornice. Emirates Palace is the most luxurious, but depends on your budget.
