hi all – furious about yesterday’s experience at T5 where it took me an entire 30min to clear security WITHOUT the queuing up!
Not only got a I tapped down twice and in the most intimate way I’ve experienced so far, I waited 15min for my turn of my bag to be searched (there was only one person doing this particular task), only for the bag (an overnight bag) to be completely emptied, anything remotely technical or liquid to be sent through the scanner again, and…I’ve run out of steam!

Has anyone experienced this much of scrutiny lately? Is this of what’s to come in one months time when we have the Olypmics are in the UK?

I don’t have a choice to avoid most of my travel during that time, but surely are not looking forward to it!
