After waiting more than a week for my invoice/receipt from the Sheraton Tokyo and calling them twice without any joy, I contacted the Sheraton helpdesk via Email. I’m very new to Starwood & only joined up because they matched my Marriott status late last year. Below is their response – well, it made me smile….(edited to remove my name) – can you spot it?

Dear Mt ST, Thank you for contacting Starwood Preferred Guest Platinum. I hope your day is going well. I have sent an email to the Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo requesting the folio be sent ASAP. I am very sorry for the incontinence this has caused you. We appreciate your loyalty MR ST, to SPG as a Platinum member. I hope you enjoyed your stay at Sheraton Miyako. Best Regards, Cathy C.
